Its April's fools day today and I think life just wants to torture me(and Sam) with cruel cruel CRUEL jokes. Like, seriously?? Not funny. Let me tell you why. 1) I was awoken at 8am to learn that my grand uncle had passed away. Talk about RUDE awakening. Well, I wasn't very close to him but still, he is a relative. You just get that strange empty feeling when someone you know dies. 2) Got quite lost trying to find our way from Pasir Ris to Clark quay cos the GPS system on the iphone screwed us over. So Sam was LATE for his university interview. I actually had to squint my eyes and kill some brains cells looking at some teeny map on the iphone to get us there. WTF, I can't believe I actually succeeded. 3) Sam's car got scratched. Like PALM-SIZE kindda scratch with other little scratches! This bastard huge ass lorry(the kind for carrying CRANES)reversed and bumped into our bonnet while we were stopping at the side of the road. And guess what this asshole did after he knocked into us? HE EFFING RAN AWAY. Bloody asshole, XD2416U, MAY YOU BURN AND ROT IN HELL. I HOPE YOU GET CRABS, HERPES, GENITAL WARTS AND HIV.... Today, I am filled with vile and evil thoughts but I don't care. Not going to love my enemy today. Not today! 4) The $200 plus GPS screwed us over. Made us drive for 2 hours around Vivo area and even to SENTOSA (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? DON'T ASK ME WHY SAM EVEN LISTENED TO IT COS I MEAN, WHO CAN'T RECOGNISE SENTOSA RIGHT?)and finally brought us to a road opposite Vivo, calling it 'Telok Blangah' -.- I was so frustrated with the day, I actually burst into tears and had to call my dad to get us. 5) After the funeral,we went down to Tampines for a movie. And hey presto! The car park entrance machine breaks down for like 25 minutes! 6) To add on to this, we both needed the toilet quite badly. Finally, Sam couldn't take it anymore so he ran to the toilet and OH YES, THE MACHINE STARTS WORKING SO I HAD TO TAKE OVER. OMG. I DROVE DOWN THE CARPARK SLOPE ALONE IN A FOREIGN CAR BEFORE I GOT MY LICENSE. I was scared to death cos I wasn't familiar with his car and I couldn't get the seat to move forward and my legs were too short to reach the pedals. I had to perch at the end of the seat and lean forward completely. Damn him for his long legs and stupid car seat. 7) Oh but its just not enough. Guess what? The aircon in the theatre broke down. So I watched 'Hop' in a hot stuffy room. Nice, just nice. I'm just glad the day is over. Terrible terrible TERRIBLE day. |
